What was done last week?
- Continued to roll out stage 1 of the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution and Administration Roll Out Plan.
- Due to significant shortage of the Pfizer vaccine supply, the Ministry of Health redirected doses of Moderna from regions of the province to other locations, including Leeds, Grenville and Lanark.
· Health units were directed to continue to provide vaccine to only the residents of Long-Term Care Homes (LTCHs) and High Risk Retirement Homes* (HR RHs – *High Risk Retirement Homes are defined as those that are co-located with a long-term care home and/or have a formal memory unit within the facility). Staff and Designated Essential Caregivers have been put on hold until the vaccine supply stabilizes. Timelines are unknown at this time.
- Completed ten more on-site clinics at a local Long-Term Care Homes and (4 in Leeds & Grenville and 6 in Lanark). These clinics were done in partnership with many local health care providers.
- From January 25 to January 31: 691 individuals received the vaccine this week.
- A total of 1717 individuals have received a vaccine (either through the KHSC Clinic, the Ottawa Hospital Clinic or one of our mobile clinics)

- Continue to plan and secure locations for our 4 fixed immunization clinic sites in preparation for mass community clinics.
